Marketing is Changing; Are You?

Eight out of ten advertisers buy online media, according to new research from California-based Outsell.

If that stat does not mesh with your own marketing media strategy, perhaps it is time to catch the train.

Things are changing so fast in marketing that it seems impossible some days just to tread water ... the current is strong. What's the answer? Shift from traditional market-think and enter the world of Web 2.0.

I totally agree. The marketers targeting college to twenties age consumers need to use online media for SURE. I have been working on school work since 10 o'clock this morning and most of it consists of me going back and forth to different web pages. In the couple of hours that I have been on, I have probably seen HUNDREDS of advertisements. The internet is the new "television." I am DEFINITELY on the internet more than I watch t.v.
There are even advertisements on the facebook-what a way to target college students. The facebook is probably the most popular topic of conversation on colleges these days, and it is a prime way to target young people.
I agree that everyone should shift to the "world of Web 2.0." It is a MUST!
